🌾 The Installations
Each of these floral installations has been designed to reflect the people, place and purpose behind the Caithness Show. Honouring the land, local growers, and big celebrations.
1. Caithness Show Sign
The iconic Caithness Show sign reimagined in flowers. Framed by a wild, textured foliage border with pops of summer wildflowers, this welcome moment is grounded by a bed of sunny yellow mini gerberas, a bright, joyful nod to everything this event stands for.
2. The Red Caithness Show Bus
An iconic part of the show, reimagined with flowers. Two whisky barrels frame the bus entrance, each topped with large, wild-style arrangements in classic Flaurals fashion. Think buddleia, barley, carnations, and seasonal wildflowers. The bus acts as the Show Committee hub, now dressed for the occasion in full summer glory.
3. The Vintage Tractors
A floral tribute to farming heritage. Flaurals has designed and built a scaled-down Massey Ferguson 35 entirely from flowers,
A handcrafted celebration of one of the most iconic vintage tractors. It sits among a bed of garden-style arrangements and proudly joins the wider display of vintage tractors on show, honouring the machines that shaped Caithness.
4. Northern Quality Produce Marquee
A rustic celebration of local craft and Caithness-grown abundance. Outside the marquee, you’ll find a layered display of whisky barrels, wooden crates, tree stumps, a creel and cart wheel.
All brought to life with colourful garden blooms, wildflowers, and plenty of barley. It’s a floral nod to the land, the makers, and the produce that make this county proud.
