Our story

It started with some flowers, a fierce vision, and a girl living her dreams.

I’m Laura—founder, florist, and creative force behind Flaurals Floristry. What began as a love for flowers and a refusal to follow the rules has grown into a bold business based in Halkirk, in the far north of Scotland.

Flaurals is my way of making beauty mean something. I create flowers for weddings, farewells, gifts, and events—each arrangement designed to connect, comfort, or completely dazzle (sometimes all three). Everytime I create something it is important for it to be as sustainable, seasonally inspired, and rooted in thoughtful design as possible..

I believe in doing floristry differently: less perfection, more personality. Less tradition, more intention. My work is shaped by feminist values, mental health awareness, and a deep love for the wild Caithness landscape I call home.

This is floristry for the main characters, the quiet rebels, the romantic realists, and anyone who wants to say something real with flowers. Whether you are creating joy in your own life or the lives of others.
